Welcome Camilla!
Welcoming a newborn into the world is a moment of pure joy and wonder for any family. At our studio, we had the pleasure of documenting Baby Camilla's early days with a photoshoot that celebrated her arrival in the most vibrant way possible. Her parents, with their keen eye for creativity, chose a unique theme that centered around colors - blue, pink, and purple - each reflecting a different facet of their love and excitement.
Blue: Unique and Tranquil
The session began with Baby Camilla nestled in a round bowl, surrounded by delicate blue hydrangeas. The choice of blue not only brought a serene ambiance to the photos but Camilla's expression certainly conveyed serenity as well. Blue for a girl is always a refreshing departure from traditional setups, showing how even subtle changes in color can transform a scene into something extraordinary.
Pink: Delicate and Endearing
Moving onto the next setup, we encountered our ever-popular heart bowl placed on a cherry blossom mini mat adorned with pink blooms. As in the blue set, Camilla fit right in! A second set that featured pink had a small bed dressed in lovely pink bedding, so soft and dainty! It was clear that Baby Camilla was embraced in a world filled with love and affection, captured beautifully through the lens.
Purple: Royal and Imaginative
One of the highlights of the shoot was Baby Camilla nestled snugly in a purple bucket against a background awash with varying shades of purple. Here's a secret: purple is my favorite color! It's not often chosen- as parents usually opt for the classic blues or pinks depending on the baby's gender. I was so happy to dust off my purple props and mini mats to create this set. We also did a purple set on our posing table. Camilla was so well-behaved we managed to get the trickiest of poses. This pose is called "Froggy" and it is a composite of two images that create a single photo where it appears as if the baby is propping herself up on her own!
White Flokati: Timeless Elegance
Amidst the bursts of color, we also captured timeless moments on a white flokati, focusing solely on Baby Camilla in all her pristine innocence. The simplicity of the white fur brought attention to her tiny details, emphasizing the purity and beauty of newborn life.
Family Moments: Love in Every Frame
No newborn shoot is complete without capturing the bond between baby and family. We dedicated a portion of the session to capturing precious family portraits, where Baby Camilla was surrounded by the unwavering love and support of her parents. These photos serve as cherished memories, encapsulating the joy of new beginnings and the strength of familial ties.
